Dong Zhongshu (179 B. C.-104 B. C.), famous philosopher,
educator in ancient China. He proposed the establishment
of schools with the Confucian Six Classics as textbooks.
He also proposed the theory of "Focus on one aspect
of study is very valuable". He required the teachers
to set themselves as an example to students, pay attention
to the talent cultivation of students. He also applied
various teaching principles reasonably as a combination
and emphasized the synthetic effect of teaching. |
